Plato's Cave Paintings

Ask me anything   The tumblr site of Laurence "DigitalSocrates" Kerr. I do webcomics, many of them of questionable taste and sanity. You can find a collection of my work not diluted by random reblogs and Webcomic news at Comic Rehab and Cyphimedia. I also update my Deviantart once in a blue moon.

I don’t mind some cheesecake occasionally, which is why I’m subscribed to the FIUA blog, but this… this is the poster child for unreasonableness. Her one bit of armor covers her wrist and limits her weapon technique, meanwhile the rest of her clothes don’t pass muster for basic functionality. That top is staying on by a miracle, and offers no support whatsoever. In addition to that it must be really cold with how pointed her nipples are. I suppose it’s more likely that near-death situations like fighting a giant in that getup just really turns her on. Then there’s the impractical spiked club (i am informed it’s a Kanabo) which is easily as tall as she is and made of solid iron, but she’s using it one-handed.
The weapon is no worse than say, Cloud Strife’s Buster Sword, but it’s still hilarious that every bit of clothing/armor she does have is actually more hindering than any practical armor she could be wearing instead. This isn’t empowering, this is exploitation.
