If this is indeed true, what are the chances that this is related to our culture? This study shows women are more likely to dream of being chased than men, and men, amongst their dominant themes, are somewhat likely to dream of killing someone. I can’t help but draw a connection here about how society treats women as inferior, and as being okay to assault, but physically and sexually.
I can’t say whether my concerns are valid here, because it’s obviously not my field of study, but I’m worried that they are. And if they are, there’s another aspect of life that patriarchy is ruining for us, because I love dreaming, and I generally have good dreams.
I’m at the point that I will just ignore anything that Did-You-Know posts about women, because it’s invariably all bad - either on the part of Did-You-Know itself, or by the studies it chooses.
